Nasi Roofing inspected the existing metal roof, and determined A Duro-Last Metal Retro-fit roofing system would be the best system to provide a long term roofing solution. Movement and age in the roofing system caused fasteners to loosen, caulk to fail, and seams lose their ability to remain watertight when water would pond at the roof edge due to ice dams that would form during the winter & spring. Precut EPS insulation fillers were installed inside the metal ribs, and an additional layer of insulation was installed to create a flat surface for the new 40 mil white custom fabricated Duro-Last roofing system. The increased R-Value reduced the heat loss and ice build-up on the roof. Two-Piece Metal Edge & Drip Edge by Exceptional Metals was installed to complete the roofing system. A Manufacturers 15 Year No Dollar Limit (NDL) Warranty was provided. This warranty is transferable, and has no exclusions for ponding water, and provides coverage against consequential damages that result from defects in the Duro-Last Material and/or installation workmanship.
